Beginner Horse Experience Ride

Our Beginner Horse Experience Rides are designed for individuals or groups that want to go for a safe, slow leisurely ride. Riders will learn about grooming and help saddle and bridle their horse before the ride. Riders will be matched with horses in a safe arena. The lesson includes basic riding skills, balance and confidence games and an easy bush trail. There is no trotting or cantering on the trail. An instructor is always present and if riders are not confident they will be matched with a buddy and led for safety reasons. We cater for adults and children in small groups. Great ride for all the family.

Organised Horse Experience ride 

During school holidays we often have Horse Experience Rides organised. These may be for children only or mixed ages. Group size will vary. Check our Book Online page for current availability. If there is nothing currently available that is suitable please contact us as we can often accommodate your needs.

Private Horse Experience ride

This is a great opportunity to ride with only your family and friends. We can also cater for special events like Anniversary and Birthday rides. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Who does this suit?

All ages are catered for, but please remember that the children need to be able to ride for an hour. If you are unsure if your child will want to stay on a horse for that long we recommend booking a pony ride first. If the rider suffers anxiety please do not send them along without consultation with me.  I am very flexible and want this to be a fun horse experience for everyone. All horses are weight limited at no more than 100kgs.

Horse Experience Rides include

• Helmets and boots can be provided (bring your own if you have them)

• Horse and tack

• Leader if required

• First Aider and kit

• All staff over 18 have working with children checks

What to Bring

Remember to bring your warm jacket and gloves during winter. In warmer weather, bring along a water bottle and sunscreen. There are pockets on the saddle cloth to put personal belongings (e.g.: phone or drink bottle). Wearing long pants and a collared shirt is a requirement.

Booking Policy

All rides must be booked in, paperwork (rider information sheet and risk

warning form) returned and payment made before booking is confirmed.

There are no holds on places.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you do not show up for the ride, the whole fee of the ride will be charged. If you are unable to attend and let me know 5 days in advance via email or text, a refund or credit can be given. Certain circumstances may make it impossible to give 5 days notice and may be taken into consideration. If cancelled due to weather a refund or credit will be offered.

Bookings are only confirmed after paperwork and payment is completed. A confirmation email will be sent confirming booking.
